Jortstop Night 2024
We are proud to announce that in 2024 Jortstop Night will be continuing our partnership with the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. Last year we used the passion and enthusiasm of our community to raise over $3500 for cancer research. Join us this year as we look to continue our new favorite tradition and attempt surpass our fundraising totals and goals.
Our Story and History:
Two years ago a group of 75 rowdy fans became the Phillies newest fan group, Jean's Jeans. Supporting fan favorite second basemen Jean Segura. After Jean's departure from the team in 2023 we were motivated to return to the ballpark in our denim.
We also wanted to use our passion and enthusiasm to give back. Once the Phillies signed Trea Turner the stars aligned. Trea Turner and his wife Kristen, being NC State Alumni, have a long-standing relationship with The Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. So we decided to reach out and partner with The V Foundation to welcome Philadelphia's newest "Jortstop".
We had 150 attendees coming from Chicago, New York, Washington DC, and everywhere in-between. We raised over $3500 for cancer research and had a hell of a time doing it. This year our goals are more ambitious and we need you to help reach them.
